September 2013: FMC had a fun and relaxing weekend on the shores of the St. Croix river as we stepped away from our regular routines to spend time as a community learning and playing together. Pastor Diane Zaerr Brenneman, Central Plains Mennonite Conference, led our time of discussion and exploration of our spiritual roots.
As a special part of the weekend, church members said thank you and celebrated Pastor Joetta Schalbach’s steadfast pastoral care and leadership to our church community. Many of the church family presented songs and poetry or stood and expressed their thanks to Joetta for all she’s done for us and the church at home and abroad. Photos: Dan Leisen
